I-ThERM project participated in the 15th UK Heat Transfer Conference 2017 (UKHTC2017), which took place during 4 – 5 September 2017, at Brunel University in London, UK.

The UK National Heat Transfer conference, organised under the aegis of the UK National Heat Transfer Committee, is the premier forum in the UK for the local and international heat transfer community to meet, disseminate ongoing work and discuss the latest advances in the Heat Transfer field. The audience included researchers from both academia and industry in the areas of heat transfer, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Additionally contributions on all aspects of these research areas, from fundamental and applied to novel experimental techniques and innovative applications were also present.

I-ThERM project was represented by the team from Brunel University which participate in the I-ThERM project. In addition to distributing the flyers related to the I-ThERM Workshop of the 24th of October at Brunel University London, during lunch breaks the delegates had the chance to visit the Centre for Sustainable Energy Use in Food Chains (CSEF), in which the supercritical CO2 demonstration facility (WP5) will be located. Hence, these laboratory tours have been further beneficial to outline scope and goals of the I-ThERM project to academicians and industry people.

I-ThERM project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 680599.
