International Energy Efficiency Network Event, Vision 2020, 25-26 February 2016

The Horizon Network are holding a Vision 2020 network event on 25 and 26 February 2016. On 25 February the event will expand on the pan-European dimension of energy efficiency priorities and policies and will discuss the 2018-19 Horizon 2020 energy efficiency funding programme. On  Friday 26th February the event will focus on the 2017 planned Energy Efficiency calls with the aim to identify common areas of interest and develop collaborations between UK and EU academic and industry partners for joint proposals.

I-ThERM presentation in Energy Recovery and Power Generation from Waste Heat seminar held by Brunel Univesity

 

 

 

 

On 25th February 2016 Brunel University’s Institute of Energy Futures will be hosting an Industry Engagement Day to showcase its research on end-use energy demand reduction, energy generation from renewable energy sources and efficient electrical power distribution and utilisation. The format will be an interesting and informative programme of short talks and seminars that address our four research Themes:

  • Advanced Powertrain and Fuels
  • Energy Efficient and Sustainable Technologies
  • Smart Power Networks
  • Resources Efficient Future Cities

The Energy Efficient and Sustainable Technologies theme will feature the I-ThERM project, with talks from five of the thirteen partners involved in this EU-funded project.
The seminar is designed to:
i) Bring together academic and industry leaders with interest in waste heat recovery and its efficient utilisation

ii) Share knowledge of both products and applications

iii) Learn of recent and emerging technology developments
