I-ThERM Workshop in Industrial Thermal Energy Recovery, Conversion and Management, 24 October 2017, Brunel University, UK.
I-ThERM project organized a workshop on Industrial Thermal Energy Recovery, Conversion and Management in the 24th of October 2017 in the premises of Brunel University, UK.
I-ThERM partners and invited speakers presented their progress and latest findings from research and development but also innovative technologies and approaches for heat recovery, efficient conversion and utilization of waste heat from industrial processes in front of an audience comprised by approximately 100 delegates from academia and industry.
The presentations covered heat recovery and conversion from both high and low temperature waste heat sources and provided opportunities for discussion and engagement with researchers, manufacturers and potential users of these technologies. All the presentation can be found at the Public Documents section of the I-ThERM website (www.itherm-project.eu).
Presentations were followed by a visit in the laboratories of the University of Brunel and especially in the Center of Sustainable Energy use in the Food Chain (CSEF) where the research for the I-ThERM project is taking place.
I-ThERM project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 680599.
