I-ThERM 18 Month Project Meeting, 20-21 April 2017, Windsor, UK. 

After being working together for 18 months, it was again time for the I-ThERM H2020 project partners to meet, this time in Windsor, UK, on 20-21 April 2017.

The 18M project meeting took place in parallel with the the International Conference on Sustainable Energy Use in Food Chains-ICSEF2017 which hosted a one day day Symposium on ‘Heat Recovery and Efficient Conversion and Utilisation of Waste Heat’, on 20 April 2017.

During the Symposium technical and technological aspects and advancements of the I-ThERM project were presented to the audience of the conference. ICSEF2017 gathered audience from different disciplines whose common interest is energy demand reduction in food chains. Given the major challenges now facing the food and energy sectors, this conference provided an ideal opportunity to discuss ways of addressing these challenges, network and meet experts in these areas.

On 21 April 2017, the I-ThERM project meeting took place were all the partners gathered together to present and discuss the project results achieved so far to the Work Packages. Additionally the comment of the Project Officer were discussed and the next steps of the several Work Packages were planned.

I-ThERM project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 680599.
